The 2015 American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Day at the Capitol will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 19, in the Hall of Flags at the State House in Augusta. Cancer advocates, survivors and members of the legislature are invited to attend, according to a press release.
This is an important day for those living with cancer and their family members and friends to come to the State House to share their personal stories to State Legislators. State leaders must hear these stories so they can take appropriate action on cancer related issues and programs.
To register, visit acscan.org or call Matt Caston at 373-3711.
