Adam J. Poulin, son of Kip Poulin and Robin Norwood, was recently named the MPA Principals’ Award recipient for Carrabec High School in North Anson.
CHS Principal Regina Campbell said in a news release that Poulin is one of Carrabec High School’s finest students. He is an honor roll student who has elected to take all AP and honors classes. He is a natural leader who leads with empathy and understanding. He has served as president of the senior class, president of the National Honor Society, captain of the varsity tennis team, and highest ranking officer of our Jobs for Maine’s Graduate Program. He is one young man who leads with confidence and a strong work ethics.
Poulin is a student who understands the idea of paying forward and works hard to give back to his school and community whenever he can. He has put in countless hours of volunteering for Christmas for Children, Halloween events, supporting the boosters and so many other ways — too numerous to count. He also took the leadership role of a special fundraiser that supports a scholarship in honor of his brother’s life and the service that he gave to our country. Poulin is a fine young man who has made a positive difference in our Carrabec halls.
In summary, Poulin is just one of those excellent well-rounded students who can deftly balance academics, extracurricular activities, employment, family and community. He has added much to our school and community. For these reasons Campbell is proud to announce that Adam J. Poulin is the Carrabec High School MPA Award recipient for 2015.
Poulin is invited to attend an awards luncheon on April 11 where he will receive his award and be eligible to be selected for one of five scholarships.
