It was so great to see Bill Nemitz back in print. I had learned from a neighbor that Nemitz was quite ill and wondered if I’d ever be able to enjoy his insight and wit ever again.

A Bill Nemitz column, like that amazing blueberry winnowing machine oh so many summers ago, separates good fruit from crap. Here’s hoping a successful lift-off sends him on a productive journey to good health and more luminescent writing. Godspeed, Bill Nemitz.
