WATERVILLE — The South End Neighborhood Association will hold its annual Bike Swap from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, in the South End Teen Center/Kennebec Valley Community Action Program parking lot.
New and used bikes for those in need will be handed out with helmets. South End residents will be given first priority. Bikes will be given to youth accompanied by parents only, according to a news release from the association. Those who attend can swap previous bike for an upgrade. The Bike Coalition of Maine will have a safety course set up to run through in the parking lot.
