Augusta Bridge Club
AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday were: north/south — Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman, Rosemarie Goodwin and David Lock, then a tie between Paul Jones and Stan Mathieu, and David Offer and Ken Harvey; east/west — Ron Cote and Bob Angland, Shirley West and Frank Shorey, and Nancy Lindgren and Nancy Lenfest. Winners Thursday were David Offer and Fred Letourneau, Marilyn DeMichelle and Martha Morrill, and Paul Mitnik and Debby Gardiner.

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were north/south: Paul and Judy Jones, who placed first; Barbara Terhune and Karen Torrey, second; and Lorrie Letourneau and Beverly St. Germaine, third; east/west: David Bourque and Diane Bishop, first; Joanna Denis and Suzon Morrison, second; and Rose Rodgers and Charles Gagnon, third.
