Unity Barn Raisers will host its annual meeting starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Unity Community Center at 32 School St., in Unity. All are welcome.
The annual meeting will include appetizers and a chance to meet the new board members and learn what’s been going on at Unity Barn Raisers. The community meal will begin at 5 p.m. Sliding scale donations is $7 to $15 per person. Like all of the community meals, the bulk of the ingredients are sourced from local farmers, growers and producers, according to a news release from the group. This meal is sponsored by Unity Food Hub.
Volunteers are needed to help with meal preparation and clean-up. As always volunteers eat for free. Those interested in volunteering can call Mary Leaming, UBR Programs director, at 948-9005 or email programs@unitybarnraisers.org.
