Winthrop Adult Education will hold a class for students in the class of 2018 who have not met proficiency in one or more standards. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon for eight weeks, Tuesday, June 23, through Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 39A Highland Ave. (no class the week of July 4). Students will complete one or more of the standards to meet a proficiency in which they are deficient, according to a news release from the school. Students will not be awarded a credit in the course, but will complete one or more of the standards.
The cost for the session is $50. If the student needs to purchase a text to complete the standard, they are responsible for the cost.
