UPDATED AS OF JULY 2: Wayne Community Church’s annual live/silent auction and celebration will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the lakeside Ladd House, 505 Main St., Wayne. Craig Miller, Channel 13, will conduct a live auction. ‘Buy it Now’ items also will be available. The celebration also will include music by Mike Ladd, and refreshments. A $10 donation is suggested,
Silent auction viewing/bidding hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at Wayne Community Church, and will continue from 9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 10, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 11. Auction items will be ready for pick up at 7 p.m.
The auction will include more than 400 items New this year is on-line auction bidding: visit tiny.cc/wayneauction. No money is involved at the time of on-line bidding. The newest item is an autographed basketball by Assistant Coach Luke Walton and the entire 2015 NBA championship Golden State Warriors.
Also included in the auction are restaurants, get-aways in Maine and beyond, boat excursions, sports memorabilia, theater tickets, golf outings, leisure activities, beautiful artisan crafts, Made in Wayne section, cooking class by a local chef, tennis and personal trainer sessions, portrait of pet by Wayne artist, a home section, and more.
