BANGOR — The Maine women’s basketball team showed no signs of fatigue while playing a fifth game in seven days Tuesday, easily dispensing of Colby 82-42 at the Cross Insurance Center.

Sigi Koizar led the Black Bears with 16 points. Chantel Charles added 11 and Liz Wood had eight points and 13 rebounds.

It was the third consecutive victory for Maine (6-3), which burst to a 22-5 lead after one quarter against the Division III Mules (4-1).

Maine used 14 players in the game and 12 of them scored. The Black Bears next play at Northeastern on Friday.

UMA 42, NHTI 37: Darby Toth scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Moose to the Yankee Small College Conference win in Concord, N.H.

Morgan Card added nine points for UMA (9-3, 4-0) while Richmond grad Jamie Plummer scored six points.

NHTI (7-3, 4-1) was led by Riselly Deoleo with 12 points.

MAINE MARITIME 70, THOMAS 51: Kristi Willey scored 17 points to lead the Mariners to the North Atlantic Conference win in Castine.

Alayne Felix and Megan McLean each added 13 points for MMA (2-2, 1-0). Nokomis graduate Mikayla Charters chipped in with two free throws.

Thomas (0-4, 0-1) was led by Gardiner graduate Katie McAllister with 23 points. Kelly Macomber, another Gardiner grad, added eight points while Waterville graduate Ashleigh Gagne chipped in four points.

HUSSON 73, UMF 56: Victoria McIntyre scored 18 points to lead the Eagles to the NAC victory in Bangor.

Kenzie Worcester and Chandler Guerrette each scored 15 points for Husson (1-1, 1-0).

UMF (1-4, 0-1) was led by Meghan Smith, who scored a game-high 21 points. Kennadi Grover scored 13 points while Winslow graduate Elizabeth Ferry added six points for the Beavers.
