MAJOR ITEMS APPROVED: $70,385 as annual payment on the current debt for road paving; $8,000-plus for TRIO software for Town Office computers; borrowing money (amount unavailable) in six bonds to pave sections of Knox Station, East Thorndike, Reynolds, Files Hill and Palmer roads; changes to nine town ordinances dealing with land use and subdivisions.

ATTENDANCE: 75 residents
CONTESTED ELECTIONS: None, but Larry Ward was elected first selectman; Bob Carter, second; and Larry Hustus, third. Patricia Banker was elected to the Cemetery Committee. Residents voted to make the position an appointive one next year.
