More than 300 participants, competing both as individuals and teams, competed in the second annual Dirty Dog Mud Run at Thomas College Sunday.

The 5K race, which wound through the West River Road campus, had 12 obstacles, including tire flips and cargo net climbing and featured custom medals for participants.

“The mud run is for everyone of all abilities and is great fun at the same time,” Jim Delorie, director of recreation and intramural programs at Thomas College, said last week.
