LEWISTON — Kasidy Turgeon had three hits, including a triple, to lead Cony past Lewiston 9-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A softball game Monday.
Delaney Keithly added three singles for Cony (9-2), while Autumn Sudsbury and Sydney Cheever each collected a pair of hits in the victory.
Emily Mousseau had a double for Lewiston (6-4).
OAK HILL 26, BOOTHBAY 3, 5 innings: Emma Hlister, Abby Nadeau and winning pitcher Makayla Nadeau each drove in three runs to lead the Raiders to the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Boothbay. Madison Bennett went 3 for 4 with two RBIs while Brooke Surette tripled and drove in a pair for Oak Hill (10-1). Boothbay dropped to 0-11.
CARRABEC 13, WINTHROP 3: Sam Lebeau struck out seven and added three RBIs, and Brooklynn Moore drove in two more as the Cobras cruised to the MVC win in North Anson.
Eight different players in the lineup for Carrabec (7-4) recorded multiple hit games, including Baylee Atwood, who had a double and a single in the win.
Kayleigh Oberg had a pair of singles for Winthrop (2-8).
MESSALONSKEE 7, LAWRENCE 1: Hannah Duperry hit a solo home run in the second inning and Madisyn Charest had three hits and four RBIs to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A victory in Fairfield.
Kelsey Dillon had two singles and an RBI while Taylor Easler had a pair of hits for the Eagles (10-0-1) as well.
Suther Bickford had two singles and Sarah Chase had a double for Lawrence (2-9).
RICHMOND 16, OLD ORCHARD 0, 5 innings: Sydney Tilton tossed a two-hitter, striking out 12, to lift the host Bobcats to the win.
Kelsea Anair led the offense with a double and three singles for Richmond (8-0). Meranda Martin had a double and two singles while Kalah Patterson added a home run and a single.
Eryca LeClerc had two singles for Old Orchard (0-10).
MADISON 12, MONMOUTH 5: Madeline Wood struck out nine and Erin Whalen drove in a pair to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC victory in Madison. Whitney Bess also drove in a pair for Madison (4-7).
Emily Kaplan had two hits for the Mustangs (4-7).
WINSLOW 15, MARANACOOK 1, 5 innings: Hillary Libby struck out eight and hit a home run to lead Winslow to the KVAC B win in Readfield.
The Black Raiders (9-1) scored eight times in the third inning and got a three-hit performance from Paige Veilleux.
Sidney Cameron had a double for the Black Bears (3-8).
BASEBALL
CONY 5, LEWISTON 3: Cam Dunlop drove in a pair of runs, including the winning run in the top of the seventh, as the Rams rallied for the KVAC A victory in Lewiston.
Cony scored three times in the seventh inning to post the win and improve to 5-6.
Connor Perry had a pair of singles.
Austin Wing went the distance on the mound for Lewiston (4-8) and had two of the Blue Devils’ four hits on the afternoon.
ERSKINE 13, NOKOMIS 3: Luke Peabody had a double and a bases clearing triple in a three-run fifth inning as the Eagles cruised to the KVAC B victory in Newport.
Noah Bonsant pitched four innings to earn the victory for the Eagles (8-3). Nokomis dropped to 4-7.
HALL-DALE 10, DIRIGO 0, 5 innings: Ryan Sinclair pitched a three-hit shutout with four strikeouts to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Farmingdale.
Quinn Stebbins had three hits, including a double, with four RBIs for Hall-Dale (8-3). Sinclair, Tyler Dubois and Alec Byron each drove in a pair of runs for the Bulldogs.
Dirigo dropped to 6-5 with the loss.
LAWRENCE 4, MESSALONSKEE 0: JT Nutting pitched a three-hit, complete game shutout to lead the Bulldogs in Fairfield.
Catcher Devon Webb had two singles and drove in a run for Lawrence (6-5), and Nutting helped his own cause with a pair of hits of his own.
Tyler Lewis had a base hit for Messalonskee (5-6).
GARDINER 11, BELFAST 2: Josh Farrin had a double, a single, two RBIs and scored a run to spark the host Tigers to the KVAC B win.
Brady Smith had two singles, two RBIs and scored twice for Gardiner (8-3) while Logan Peacock added two singles.
Garrett Hamlin had two of Belfast’s (7-4) three hits.
CARRABEC 7, WINTHROP 6: The Cobras scored seven runs in the fifth inning to take a 7-1 lead and then held off the Ramblers late to earn the MVC victory. Dustin Crawford pitched the complete game to earn the victory for the Cobras (6-5). Greg Fay doubled for Winthrop (3-7).
GIRLS LACROSSE
GARDINER 10, OCEANSIDE 7: Hailee Lovely scored four goals to spark the host Tigers to the win.
Nickyia Lovely and Bryce Smith added two goals apiece for Gardiner (4-3) while Maddy Beaulieu and Evelyn Hinkley had one apiece. Kaylin Mansir made 11 saves.
Sierra Beal had a hat trick for Oceanside (3-3). Jillian Brooks added two goals and Abbey Lacasse and Danielle Ladd had a goal each. Elise Laslavic stopped three shots.
