Dresden’s SummerFest, which will include activities for all ages, is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Pownalborough Court House.
The festivities will feature:
• The Abenaki Nation Fish River Singers performing traditional dance and song
• American folk music by Steamboat Gypsy Band
• Horse drawn carriage rides by Hideaway Farms
• Fire Department burgers and hot dog barbecue, or bring your own picnic lunch
• Tours of the courthouse and adjacent Nature Trails
• Goat petting zoo
• Pie judging contest with proceeds donated to the Richmond Food Pantry
• Hoolahooping
• Hay Scramble
• Croquet
• Bean bag toss
• Spirit of American Awards presentation
• Sing-A-Long with Desden’s own accordion player
• Community groups and businesses including jewelry, steak shack, physical therapy demonstrations, body juggling, Gryffon Ridge Spices and more
