PITTSFIELD — Casey Bourque scored two unassisted goals to spark Gardiner past Maine Central Institue 2-1 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B boys soccer action Tuesday.

Both goals were in the second half. Cam Bell made six saves in net for Gardiner (4-5-1).

Hunter Wintle scored for MCI (5-3-2). Aidan Peacock made three saves.

ERSKINE 1, NOKOMIS 0: Christopher Weymouth scored just 63 seconds into the second half to lift the Eagles to the KVAC B win in South China.

David McGraw made one save to earn the shutout for Erskine (6-2-2).

Nick Bolliger had nine saves in net for Nokomis (2-8-0).

BANGOR 3, MESSALONSKEE 1: Garth Derenyi had a goal and an assist as the Rams downed the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

James Kouletsis had the lone gorl for Messalonskee (6-3-1), which has lost two in a row.

MONMOUTH 3, HALL-DALE 0: Emily Grandahl scored two goals and Tia Day added another as the Mustangs prevailed in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.

Maggie Gross had nine saves for Hall-Dale (3-7-1).
