The Rangeley Oktoberfest Weekend, Sept. 29-Oct. 2, activities concluded and winners of the Brat & Strudel contest were announced at ceremonies at the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce office.

The annual contest was sponsored by the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce and hosted by The Rangeley Inn and Tavern. Local chefs prepared their best brat and strudel and the entries were judged by both a panel of expert judges, Klara Haines, Gerlinde Stretz and Hans Stretz, and a popular vote from the almost 100 attendees.
