As residents of Windsor, seldom do we have candidates for office knocking on our door. A few weeks ago, we found Patsy Crockett at our door asking for our votes.
Patsy told us about the issues facing the county commissioner board in the coming year, particularly the overcrowding at the jail and the heroin epidemic that’s effected the region. Patsy explained the commission’s plan to add jail bed space to address the issue while reducing costs.
We have known Patsy for many years and are impressed with her knowledge, and her experience. We wish every candidate would visit voters. They’d have a clearer understanding about how their decisions affect real people. After her visit, we will definitely be voting for Patsy — she has earned our votes.
