SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Chance Brady and Dominic Borelli rushed for 1-yard touchdowns about four minutes apart in the third quarter to break open a close game and help the Tufts football team roll past Colby 44-12 in a New England Small College Athletic Conference game Saturday afternoon.
The two scores helped turn a 16-12 game into 30-12.
Brady rushed for a game-high 174 yards and three touchdowns for the Jumbos (6-1). Borelli had 26 yards while Ryan McDonald had 84 rushing yards on 10 carries.
Christian Sparacio completed 13-of-31 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown for Colby (2-5).
Tufts finished with 437 yards of total offense while Colby had just 213.
