AUGUSTA — The Marketplace at Augusta is hosting Rock the Night Away, a Black Friday shopping event.

From midnight to 5 a.m. Friday, several retailers at the outdoor shopping mall on Civic Center Drive, including Kohl’s, Home Depot, Old Navy and American Eagle Outfitters will open their doors to shoppers for the festivities.

Along with the shopping, the event will include a selfie wall for photo opportunities with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, Victorian carolers, refreshments, food trucks, live entertainment, light shows and prize giveaways. Holiday characters Rudolph, Frosty and the Grinch also are expected to make appearances.
