Richmond High School has announces the following students are the schools top scholars for the class of 2017, listed alphabetically. Graduation is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10.

Magna Cum Laude

Hunter B. Curtis, son of Clifton and Lauren Curtis, of Richmond, is the valedictorian. Curtis plans to attend the University of Maine to study chemical engineering.

Josee Geaghan, daughter of Jeff Geaghan and Tori Bunker (deceased), of Richmond, is the salutatorian. She plans to study business administration at Southern Maine Community College.

Abby Payson, daughter of Jeffrey and Patricia Payson, of Richmond, plans to attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent to study nursing.

Mackenzie Abbott, daughter of Becky and Derek Abbott, of Boothbay, plans to attend Central Maine Community College to study forensics (criminal justice).

Brendan Emmons, son of Ronald and Patricia Emmons, of Richmond, plans to study athletic training at the University of Southern Maine.

Garrett Frost, son of Rod and Jacqueline Frost, of Gardiner, plans to attend Thomas College to study forensic accounting.

Cassidy A. Harriman, daughter of Jesse and Erin Harriman, of Richmond, plans to study health sciences at Southern Maine Community College.

Camryn T. Hurley, daughter of Brian and Clarissa Hurley, of Richmond, plans to attend the University of New England to study dental hygiene.

Meranda S. Martin, daughter of Tony and Gayelynn Martin, of Richmond, plans to study nursing at Southern Maine Community College.

Caleigh Shulman, daughter Bobby-Jo Watson-Cray and Chad Cray, of Richmond, plans to attend the University of New England to study pharmacy.
