FARMINGTON — Sydney Reed had three hits as the Skowhegan softball team wrapped up the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A title with a 13-1 win over Mt. Blue in six innings on Tuesday.

Sydney Ames and Ashley Alward combined on a two-hitter for the Indians (14-2), who closed out the regular season with nine straight wins.

Mariah Dunbar added a pair of hits for Skowhegan, wile Alward and Alyssa Everett each collected doubles in an 11-hit attack.

Mt. Blue closed out its season at 2-14.

OAK HILL 5, MADISON 4: Winning pitcher Sadie Waterman had an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Raiders to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Oak Hill (13-3) trailed 3-1 before scoring two runs in the fourth and two more in the seventh to hand Madison (15-1) its first loss of the season.

Waterman pitched a complete game, striking out four and walking just one.

Makala Smith went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Raiders as well.

Tough-luck loser Madeline Wood went 3 for 4 with a triple and an RBI for Madison. Aishah Malloy also had three hits for the Bulldogs.

WINSLOW 9, BELFAST 2: Bailey Robbins had four hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs to help lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Winslow.

Paige Trask earned the win in the circle for Winslow (11-3), allowing only three hits and two earned runs. Trask and Natalie Greene each singled, scored a run and collected an RBI in the victory.

Karagan Stone and Aila Skidgell each had a single and a run scored for Belfast (4-12).

HALL-DALE 10, MT. ABRAM 8: Isabella Marino had three hits — including a triple — to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win over the Roadrunners in Farmingdale.

Grace Begin had two hits for Hall-Dale (7-8), while Jill Whynot added a double.

Mt. Abram falls to 2-14.

BUCKFIELD 19, VALLEY 6: Buckfield scored 14 unanswered runs over the final four innings to take the East/West Conference win in Bingham.

Abigail Fogg homered for Buckfield (14-2). Hannah Shields hit three triples and a single for the Bucks.

Michaela Marden hit two singles and drove in three runs for Valley (3-9). Kendra Sweet doubled and drove in a pair for the Cavs.

GARDINER 7, ERSKINE 6, 13 inn.: Two runs scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the 13th inning, lifting the Tigers to the marathon KVAC B win in Gardiner.

Kylee Sirois, Jazmin Clary and Logan Granholme each had two hits for Gardiner (15-1), while senior Mallory Bailey had a double.

Erskine (5-10) got three-hit efforts from Taylor McLaggan and Kayla Hodgins and scored twice in the top of the sixth to force extra innings.

BASEBALL

WATERVILLE 2, OCEANSIDE 1: Cody Pellerin drove in the winning run in the bottom of the fifth inning to lift the Panthers to the KVAC B win in Rockland.

Andrew Roderigue’s triple earlier in the inning tied the game to set the stage for Pellerin. Pellerin tossed a complete-game two-hitter with 10 strikeouts for Waterville (12-3).

Oceanside dropped to 9-6.

FOREST HILLS 14, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 3, 5 inn.: Carson Veilleux, Hunter Cuddy and Brandon Gilboe had three hits apiece to lead the Tigers (5-8) to a victory in their season finale in Jackman.

Cuddy and Gilboe had doubles for Forest Hills, as did Javier Padilla and Quenton Rodriguez, while Dalton Gregoire and Rodriguez had two hits each.

T.J. Sheldon had two hits, including a home run, for Highview Christian (0-7).

RANGELEY 11-6, VINALHAVEN 0-2: Kyle Larochelle struck out 11 in the nightcap to lead the Lakers to the East/West Conference doubleheader sweep in Rockport.

In game one, Rangeley (9-3) scored nine runs in the top of the fifth inning. Ricky Thompson allowed just one hit and struck out seven for the win.

In game two, Ian Lillis had a pair of hits, and Zach Trafton homered for the Lakers. Cody Hamilton and Joe Hopkins each had two hits for Vinalhaven (2-11).

HAMPDEN 8, LAWRENCE 3: Casey Sudbeck had two hits and drove in a run to help the Broncos take the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

Alex McKenney added a pair of hits and an RBI for Hampden (11-5). Devon Webb had two hits, including a triple, for Lawrence (6-10).

CONY 4, MESSALONSKEE 0: Tyler Dostie had two singles and two RBIs to lead the Rams over the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Kolbe Merfeld and Taylor Heath each had two hits for Cony (4-12). Mike Levesque added a double.

Josh Joy cracked a double for Messalonskee (7-9).
