Carrabassett Valley has planned the following Fourth of July events. Events will take place at the town park unless stated otherwise.
Basketball and tennis courts will be open, weather permitting, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Children’s Parade will begin at 3 p.m. starting from Tufulio’s parking lot.
Children’s Sawdust Pile will be open from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
Children’s fire truck rides with the fire chief and fire department staff is set for 4:15-5:15 p.m.
Small Magic Show under the tent with The Great Stefan is scheduled for 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Music provided by DJ Kompost will take place from 5 to 9 p.m.
Balloon art with The Great Stefan will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Fireworks by Central Maine Pyrotechnics will begin at approximately 9 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair, bug spray, towels, swimsuits, tennis rackets, tennis balls, Frisbees and sunscreen.
