The Marketplace at Augusta will welcome the community to the annual Back to School Block Party from 12-5 p.m. Saturday, according to a press release from the shopping center.

The event features live music, activities, a science fair, a firetruck display, giveaways and horse-drawn wagon rides.

In addition, 92Moose and B98.5 will be broadcasting live from noon to 3 p.m. with visits to 18 stores and restaurants.

“Marketplace Augusta takes great pride in offering our community … events and programs that enhance their shopping experience, especially during this busy time of year,” said Ellyne Fleshner, Augusta’s Regional General Manager.
