FAIRFIELD — The Lawrence field hockey team jumped out to a two-goal halftime lead and then held on to earn a 3-2 win over Waterville in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Tuesday.

Nora Buck, Camryn Caldwell and Payton Goodwin each scored a goal for Lawrence (3-4-0).

Chrissy Denis and Taylor Tevepaugh had the goals for Waterville (0-4-1). Colby Dangler made 18 saves.

MESSALONSKEE 5, OXFORD HILLS 0: Kaitlyn Smith scored two goals to lead the Eagles to a win over the Viking in Oakland.

Chloe Tilley had a goal and an assist for Messalonskee (6-0-0), While Haley Lowell and Megan Quirion each tallied a goal for the Eagles.

Ally Turner had two assists, while Autumn Littlefield added an assist for Messalonskee. Julia Vigue needed just one save to earn the shutout.

Oxford Hills falls to 1-5-1.

WINSLOW 5, BREWER 0: Anna Petrovic and Bodhi Littlefield each scored a pair of goals to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Winslow.

Weslee Littlefield also scored for Winslow (5-0-0), while Cassie Demers made five saves in the shutout.

Brewer dropped to 2-4-0.

NOKOMIS 2, MOUNT VIEW 1: Lauren Anderson scored with 1:55 left in regulation to snap a 1-1 game and give the Warriors the KVAC victory.

Mount View took a 1-0 lead when Sophia King scored early in the second half, however Lauren Burhle pulled Nokomis even with a goal with 9:06 left.

Alexis Bowman had six saves for Mount View while Chelsea Crocket had four for Nokomis.

BOYS SOCCER

BANGOR 1, WINSLOW 0: Garth Berenyi scored with three minutes left in the first half, helping the Rams earn the KVAC win in Winslow.

Austin Conway made seven saves to preserve the shutout for unbeaten Bangor (7-0-0).

Jake Lapierre made five stops for Winslow (3-2-0).

MOUNT VIEW 1, LINCOLN 0: The Mustangs’ Elijah Allen scored late in regulation to secure the KVAC win in Thorndike.

Allen’s goal came with under three minutes remaining, and Max Tomlin made five saves to earn the shutout for Mount View (6-1-0).

Sam Laemmle made 14 saves for Lincoln (3-1-2).

MT. ABRAM 3, DIRIGO 0: Kenyon Pillsbury scored the first three goals of his career to power the Roadrunners to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Salem.

A freshman, Pillsbury netted his hat trick in the first half for Mt. Abram (3-1-2). Nate Luce and Jack Deming combined on a two-save shutout.

Wes Libby made 25 saves for winless Dirigo (0-5-0).

MARANACOOK 3, MT. BLUE 0: The Black Bears blanked the Cougars in a matchup of KVAC unbeatens in Farmington.

Micah Charette, Aric Belanger and Jack McPhedran all scored for Maranacook (6-0-0).

Hunter Bolduc made five saves for Mt. Blue (4-1-1).

CARRABEC 1, LISBON 0: Jacob Atwood scored midway through the first half and the Cobras held on for the MVC win in North Anson.

Cole Rugh assisted on the game’s only goal for Carrabec (2-3-0), and Brad Clark made 12 saves to help it stand up.

Jonah Sautter stopped 10 shots for Lisbon (4-1-1).

MESSALONSKEE 3, WATERVILLE 0: Hunter Smith scored twice in the second half to lead the Eagles to the KVAC win at Thomas College in Waterville.

Jacob Perry scored in the first half for Messalonskee (2-3-1), while Dawson Charles made three saves.

Ethan Nurick made 13 saves for Waterville (1-4-1).

TEMPLE 6, ISLESBORO 2: Nikola Kekic had a hat trick and an assist to spark the Bereans to the Class D win.

Illija Ivkovic, Will Paradis and Micah Riportella each had a goal and an assist for Temple (5-0-0). Sawyer Deroche chipped in with two assists and Elijah Austin made six saves.

Finn Gibson scored both goals for Islesboro (2-2-1) while Finnian O’Malia stopped 20 shots.

MARANACOOK 1, MT. BLUE 1: Black Bear Nicole D’Angelo scored with three minutes remaining to force the KVAC tie in Readfield.

Kyla LeGrand scored for Mt. Blue (1-4-1) in the first half.

Skyeler Webb made seven saves for Maranacook (3-1-1), while her counterpart Mackenzie Libby made 13 saves.
