PITTSFIELD — A quiet first half erupted in a wild second half that left the MCI and Hermon boys soccer teams with a 3-3 draw on Wednesday afternoon in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference play.
Jedi Uribe scored two goals for MCI (2-3-1), while Devon Varney also scored once. Tyler Gaouette made four saves for the Huskies.
Kaleb Cianchette and James Peterson had goals for Hermon (2-3-1) in the final four minutes of regulation to force the tie.
GIRLS SOCCER
WINTHROP 2, BOOTHBAY 1, OT: Aaliya Wilson-Falcone’s second goal of the game came via a penalty kick in extra time to lift the Ramblers to the MVC win in Winthrop.
Samantha Moody made one save to earn the win for Winthrop (3-4-0).
Reagan Cola scored for Boothbay (2-5-0).
LISBON 2, HALL-DALE 1: Destiny Deschaines scored with under 10 minutes remaining to snap the Mountain Valley Conference tie in Farmingdale.
Sabrina Freeman scored the lone goal for Hall-Dale (3-3-1), and Riley Johnson made 13 saves, including one on a penalty kick to keep the game tied late in the second half.
Kiley Merritt opened the scoring for Lisbon (4-2-1).
