OAKLAND — Lydia Bradfield scored two goals and Edin Sisson added a goal as the Messalonskee girls soccer team beat Bangor 3-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A match Thursday night.

It was a notable win for the Eagles (5-1-1), as it was the first time the team had defeated the Rams in the near five-year tenure of head coach Penny Stansfield.

Mya Chalmers, Amelia Bradfield and Shauna Clark each had an assist for Messalonskee. Hannah DeGiudice had six saves.

Libby Spekhardt scored the lone goal for Bangor (4-2-1).

ERSKINE 4, MARANACOOK 0: Annemarie Allen scored two goals to lead the Eagles to a KVAC victory over the Black Bears in South China.

Hymanot Maynard and Tori Grasse each tallied goals for Erskine (5-1-2). Lauren Wood and Alana York each had two assists. Taylor Shute and Caitlin Labbe combined for six saves for the shutout.

Skyeler Webb had 19 saves for Maranacook (3-2-1).

WATERVILLE 5, BELFAST 1: Anika Elias scored three goals to lead the Purple Panthers to the KVAC B win in Waterville.

Mackenzie St. Pierre had two assists for Waterville (5-1-1). Juune Robertson-McIntire scored for Belfast (1-7).

WINSLOW 4, LAWRENCE 0: Sarah Guimond had two goals and an assist to spark the host Black Raiders to the KVAC B win.

Grace Redwine added a goal and two assists for Winslow (4-1-0) and Sarah Stevens also scored. Broghan Gagnon made four saves.

Riley Hanson sstopped 11 shots for Lawrence (1-5-0).
