AUGUSTA — The Augusta Bird Club will present a program, Round the World Birding with Becky Marvil, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Viles Arboretum, 153 Hospital St.

In the summer of 2015, Marvil spent 30 days with her husband, Josh, a pilot, and two other couples traveling around the world in a private plane. From the volcanic islands of the Azores to the 106-degree heat of the Oman to the chilly, drizzly coast of Alaska, Marvil will share her photos and stories of bird species from around the globe.
