St. Albans town meeting
Budget approved Saturday: $1.38 million
Major items approved: $293,920 for public works and Highway Department; $6,500 for town hall generator
Major items rejected: $5,000 for new dock for town landing. Town Manager Rhonda Stark opposed it, saying the state might pick up the cost.

Elected to office Friday: Emille Lemire, town clerk; Hiram Weymouth, selectman; Stephen Emery, road commissioner; Lemire, Kimberly Novak and James O’Neill, Budget Committee; Samantha Brown, School Unit 19 board of directors.
