JEFFERSON — The Jefferson Area Food Pantry received more than 600 pounds of food because of all the residents who donated to the U.S. Postal Service food drive last Saturday. Donations surpassed last year by more than 200 pounds.
Those in need of help in providing food for themselves or their family, the pantry is open from 4 to 5:30 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at St. Giles Episcopal Church, 72 Gardiner Road.
