WATERVILLE — Marah Hall drove in four runs and Aishah Malloy had three RBIs as the Madison softball team sank Oak Hill 10-3 in the Mountain Valley Conference championship game Thursday afternoon at Thomas College.
Lauria Leblanc went the distance for Madison, striking out five.
Abby Nadeau had two hits and an RBI for the Raiders.
BASEBALL
HALL-DALE 7, LISBON 0: Cole Lockhart led the Bulldogs to the MVC championship on the mound and at the plate, taking a perfect game into the seventh inning and driving in three runs in Hall-Dale’s victory.
Lockhart fanned four and allowed two hits, and had a double among his two hits. Akira Warren had a triple and Austin Stebbins had two hits and two RBI for Hall-Dale (16-1).
GIRLS LACROSSE
MESSALONSKEE 20, OXFORD HILLS 8: Ally Turner scored five goals and had two assists to lead the Eagles to a victory over the Vikings in Oakland.
Lauren Pickett, Chloe Tilley and Abigail Varney each added three goals for Messalonskee. The Eagles finish the regular season with an 8-4 record and will move on to the Class B playoffs.
Cassidy Walo had two goals for Oxford Hills (9-3).
BOOTHBAY 16, GARDINER 8: Hailee Lovely scored four goals but the Tigers dropped the season finale in Gardiner.
Anna Chadwick added a pair of goals for Gardiner (4-8).
Boothbay improved to 9-3.
