On June 12 Waterville residents will be asked to recall the mayor. The reason is simple — he made a vulgar insult to a teenager.

Since such unacceptable behavior on the part of the highest elected official in the city reflects poorly on Waterville itself, I urge all Waterville voters to answer the ballot question, “Shall Nicholas S. Isgro be recalled?” with a resounding “yes.”
