We would like to thank Amy Calder for the wonderful column on the Hospice Volunteers of the Waterville Area resale shop (“Waterville couple makes hospice work a model of compassion,” July 2).
We appreciate Amy getting out our need for more volunteers and donations to keep our resale shop going. As she said, 100 percent of our revenue goes directly back to the Hospice Volunteers.
We are happy to play out our small part, and we really need to recognize the other volunteers who donate their time running the ReSale Shop Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., along with our monthly Saturday sales.
Amy, if we are going to heaven we expect to see you and Susan Roy, Barbara Lowell, Bernie Heibner, Bonnie Duryea, Carol and Darryl Bell, Deb Mansfield, Dianne Debay, Diane Wright, Jim Wright, Eisa Thibeau, Florence Donovan, Geraldine Harding, Gloria Breton, Jackie Reny, Jan Howard, Joan Bickford, Kathy Welsh, Ken Quirion, Lee and Joe Fortin, Melissa Carter, Muriel Rancourt, Pat and Bruce Bolduc, Paul Drouin, Sandra Marcoux, Sandra Paulette, Sandra Perrine, Sarah Webster, Stephanie Lacroix and Wendy Swiger.
The resale shop succeeds because we all work as a team for the better good of our community. We want Hospice Volunteers of the Waterville Area to be here for you when you need us.
Marie and Luxy LeClair
