INDUSTRY — A New Vineyard woman was injured Thursday morning when a Jeep crossed over the center-line on Industry Road and collided with a car she was driving, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies Brad Scovil and Keith Madore responded to the report of a head-on collision at about 5:05 a.m.

Clarence Brown 23, of Anson, was traveling east in his Jeep Commander on Industry Road when it crossed over the center-line and struck a Nissan Altima driven by Brittany Walsh, 29, of New Vineyard, according to a release.

“Speed was the leading cause in the crash,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Walsh was taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to be treated for minor injuries at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, the release stated.

Industry and Farmington fire rescue departments assisted deputies at the scene.
