WINTHROP — A Bartenders Ice Fishing Derby will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, on Maranacook Lake.

The event is in memory of Lee St.Hilaire and Carlene Steele.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the biggest togue, brookie and salmon, and heaviest fish for those 12 and younger.

Feb. 16 and 17 is Maine’s free fishing weekend.

The event also will include door prizes, and food will be available for sale.

Anyone can sign up. The entry fee is $10.
