The president and his party who preach “privatize, privatize” want you to pay for their pet project — the border wall — with public funds. Even Humpty Dumpty didn’t push such a plan. All in all, it’s just another brick in a wall that separates good sense from nonsense.

Common sense says our present and future challenge comes from China, and alienating Mexico and the rest of Latin America won’t protect us.

The pet project pushers want a wall built? Fine! Let them pay for it. Let them buy wall bonds.

They can even come with an “In Trump we trust” guarantee.
