SKOWHEGAN — Marcus Christopher scored 20 points and and Carter Hunt added 12 to help the Skowhegan boys basketball team sink Messalonskee 54-43 in a pivotal Class A North game Tuesday night.

Matush Prokop had eight points and nine rebounds for the Indians (7-10), which is trying to hold off Brewer for the final playoff spot in A North.

Matthew Parent had 10 points for the Eagles (8-9).

 

MARANACOOK 63, WINSLOW 44: Cash McClure and Duncan Rogers each scored 13 points as the Black Bears sank the Raiders in Winslow.

Rogers scored nine points in the 3rd quarter to break open a 23-17 game.

Mitch Root scored 11 points for Maranacook (15-2).

Colby Pomeroy scored 11 points for the Black Raiders (9-8).

 

WATERVILLE 79, BELFAST 65: Jack Thompson (14 points, 14 rebounds) and Jack Lloyd (10 points, 13 rebounds) each had a double-double as the Panthers sank the Lions in Belfast.

David Barre scored 22 points for Waterville (4-13).

Jason Bartlett scored 25 points to pace Belfast (2-15).

OXFORD HILLS 90, GARDINER 41: William Dieterich scored 20 points and Colton Carson added 19 as the Vikings prevailed in Gardiner.

Spencer Strong added 18 points for the Vikings (12-6) as well.

Luke Stevens led Gardiner (2-15) with 16 points.

 

FOREST HILLS 67, VINALHAVEN 35: Parker Desjardins scored a game-high 33 points and Hunter Cuddy added 14 as the Tigers rolled past the Vikings.

HALL-DALE 75, OAK HILL 47: Alec Byron scored a game-high 19 points and Ashtyn Abbott added 12 as the Bulldogs rolled past the Raiders in a Mountain Valley Conference game Tuesday night in Farmingdale.

Tim Cookson grabbed nine rebounds for Hall-Dale (17-1).

Gavin Rawstron scored 12 points to lead Oak Hill (5-12).

CONY 93, MORSE 48: Dakota Dearborn scored 18 points to lead the Rams to a win over the Shipbuilders in Bath.

The Rams (13-4) knocked down 20 3-pointers in the contest. Kyle Douin scored 17 points, while Luke Briggs added 14 points for Cony.

Simon McCormick had nine assists and seven steals for the Rams.

Thomas Warren led Morse (4-13) with 18 points.

RANGELEY 35, TEMPLE 30: Winnie LaRochelle scored a team-high 13 points and Lauren Eastlack turned in a strong all-around game as the Lakers held off the Bereans in a D South game.

Eastlack had eight rebounds, five steals and three points for Rangeley (16-1).

Hannah Hubbard scored 12 points to pace Temple (4-4).

 

WATERVILLE 54, BELFAST 32: Madeleine Martin scored a game-high 19 points as the Purple Panthers moved one step closer to an undefeated regular season with the KVAC B win in Waterville.
