Richmond High School has announced its top scholars for the class of 2019.

Laude:

Ashley Brown, daughter of Jay and Susan Brown, of Richmond, plans to attend University of Maine Orono to study political science. She is class valedictorian.

Emma Carbone, daughter of Jason and Janna Prout, of Richmond, plans to attend University of Maine Orono to study psychology.

Alexander Dershem, son of Keith Dershem, of Richmond, and the late Tammy Dershem, plans to attend the University of Maine Orono to study mechanical engineering. He is class salutatorian.

Samantha Briggs, daughter of Tiffany Barrett, of Dresden, plans to attend University of Maine Farmington to study English.

Kennedy Chandler, daughter of Ryan and Stacey Chandler, of Richmond, plans to study political science at Southern Maine Community College.

Nathan Curtis, son of Clifton and Lauren Curtis, of Richmond, plans to attend the University of Maine Orono to study electrical engineering technology.

Caitlin Kendrick, daughter of Troy and Kimberly Kendrick, of Richmond, plans to attend St. Joseph’s College to study nursing.

Corinne Marlowe, daughter of Emily Marlowe, of Richmond, plans to attend Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California, to study nursing.
