JACKMAN — Parker Desjardins scored 49 points as Forest Hills beat Temple 84-39 in a boys basketball game Saturday.
Desjardins also added 12 rebounds and seven steals for the Tigers (8-1). Hiram Logston chipped in 14 points.
Temple (0-4) was led by Marko Ajaz with 13 points.
MT. BLUE 61, DIRIGO 55: Mt. Blue clamped down on defense in the second half to rally for the win in Farmington.
Dirigo made eight 3-pointers in the first half, which included a 22-11 lead after one quarter. Trent Holman had four of those 3s and finished with 15 points. Charlie Houghton led Dirigo with a game-high 21 points.
Seth Pinkham drew the defensive responsibility to guard Houghton and finished with five points and eight rebounds for Mt. Blue. Zach Poisson had a team-high 20 points, and Hayden Dippner pitched in with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and six steals.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
OAK HILL 55, RICHMOND 19: Audrey Dillman and Emily Dillman each scored nine points to lead a balanced Raiders attack in the win in Wales.
Paige Gonya and Aubrey McElaney added eight points apiece for Oak Hill.
Macy Carver led Richmond with 12 points.
BOYS HOCKEY
LEWISTON 7, POLAND/LEAVITT/GRAY-NG/OAK HILL 1: Mason Beaudoin scored a hat trick to lead the Blue Devils to a victory over the Kings.
Cooper St. Hilaire, Cody Dionne, Cole Ullrich and Evan Knowlton also scored for Lewiston. Daxton St. Hilaire had four assists, Cooper St. Hilaire had two more, and Nick Pelletier and Tanner Anctil each had one.
Dawson Gauvin scored for the Kings to spoil Keegan McLaughlin’s shot at a shutout for Lewiston. Vinny Lupardo manned the Kings net.
GIRLS HOCKEY
BRUNSWICK 2, WINSLOW/GARDINER/CONY/MESSALONSKEE 1: Elena Palmer scored the game-winner on a feed from Molly Taub with 2:35 to play in regulation as the Dragons (1-1-1) edged the Raiders (0-2-1) at the Camden National Bank Ice Vault in Hallowell.
Alicia Wall scored 5:55 into the third period to break a scoreless tie on a pass from Alaina Lambert for Winslow/Gardiner/Cony/Messalonskee, but Palmer set up Mia Klimash 5:00 later to pull Brunswick even.
