GARDINER — Kalvin Catchings had 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Gardiner boys basketball team to a 52-45 overtime victory over Monmouth Academy on Wednesday night.
Tied 45-45 at the end of regulation, the Tigers outscored the Mustangs 7-0 in overtime for the win.
Ryan Madore scored 13 points and had six rebounds for Gardiner.
Cam Armstrong led Monmouth with 12 points, while Manny Calder and Hayden Fletcher each added 11 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
GARDINER 70, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 32: Savannah Brown scored 12 points to lead the Tigers to a win over the Mustangs in Monmouth.
Kassidy Collins had 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Lizzy Gruber had 10 points and 15 rebounds for Gardiner.
Emma Johnson led Monmouth with 17 points.
