An individual associated with Waterville Senior High School tested positive for COVID-19, the district noted on its announcements page Wednesday afternoon.

The case does not impact the school’s hybrid learning model, but close contacts who were notified by school nursing staff do have to quarantine.

“These individuals must quarantine for 10 days beginning on the last day they had contact with the person who recently tested positive,” Waterville Senior High School Principal Brian Laramee wrote. “While some may be able to leave quarantine sooner based on the day contact occurred, most are required to quarantine through Friday, March 26th, and can return to school on Monday, March 29th.”
