WISCASSET — The Maine Art Gallery’s “Paint the Town and Plein Air Show” is planned for July 21-25, artists will set up their easels around the town to document the local scenery.

A reception is scheduled for the evening of July 24 at the gallery, when the artwork will be for sale.

The event sponsor is Wiscasset branch of the First National Bank.

The gallery opens the season May 15 with the Members Show, which will run through June 5. The gallery also will hold an online auction of art from May 1 to June 15.
