OAKLAND — Morgan Genest had two hits, including a double, to lead the Messalonskee softball team to a 6-3 win over Hampden Academy on Friday.
Brooke Martin smacked a home run for the Eagles (5-1). Morgan Wills earned the win in the circle for Messalonskee.
Sara Economy and Makayla Poulin had doubles for the Broncos (0-3).
WATERVILLE 12, ERSKINE 2: The Purple Panthers scored six runs in the sixth inning to pull away for the win in Waterville.
Rylee Lint, Raylee Gilbert, Jess Mayo and Gillian Poulin each had RBIs in the inning. Mayo added a two-run double for Waterville (4-3) while Gilbert homered. Gilbert earned the win in the circle, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out 10.
Erskine falls to 1-4.
LAWRENCE 14, CONY 2, 5 INN.: Sarah Poli homered, doubled and drove in three runs as the Bulldogs took the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference matchup in Fairfield.
Maylie Knox had three hits, including two doubles, while Taylor Wilkie (double), Kaylee Elkins (three RBI), Sage Reed (double) and Jade Sullivan had two hits apiece. Reed struck out eight batters in the circle for Lawrence (7-2).
Haylee Cyr struck out three batters for the Rams (1-5).
BASEBALL
HALL-DALE 15, TELSTAR 1, 5 innings: Max Byron had two doubles to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Rebels in Farmingdale.
Sam Sheaffer and Ben Nathan each added doubles for Hall-Dale (5-5). Drake Bickford had two hits for the Bulldogs.
Myles Lilly had two hits, including a triple, for Telstar (4-5).
GIRLS LACROSSE
CONY 14, LINCOLN 3: Sierra Clark scored five goals to lead the Rams (5-2) past the Eagles (0-6) in Newcastle.
Frida Hennig, Dakota Gregory and Marley LeBel scored for Lincoln.
BOYS LACROSSE
CAMDEN HILLS 20, ERSKINE 2: Levi Guay recorded three goals and six assists, and Jakob Johnson, Willy Doehla and Eric Andrews also scored three times apiece for the Windjammers (6-1) in a won over the Eagles (0-6) in South China.
