WATERVILLE — Northern Light Inland Hospital announced this week that it will reopen its drive-up COVID-19 testing site behind the hospital at 200 Kennedy Memorial Drive.
Testing will be conducted from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Saturday and appointments can be scheduled through the hospital’s website. Testing for travel is not available through the hospital at this time.
Testing has been offered at the Northern Light Walk-In Care office at 174 Kennedy Memorial Drive, but due to a current surge in demand, the hospital is moving all testing to the drive-up facility, according to an Inland news release. The Walk-In Care office will continue to offer nonemergency care, including care for those with COVID, flu and cold symptoms.
The drive-up facility will offer a self-swab test and visitors should be prepared to swab children under 12. People will remain in their vehicles.
Those wanting to schedule a test are asked to call 844-489-1822 or visit Northernlighthealth.org/Testing. Appointments will be available starting Monday. Those who have an order for a pre-procedure medical test from a provider must register online or call the 844 number and follow the prompts.
Other Northern Light drive-up testing centers will be reopening shortly, according to the release.
