DAMARISCOTTA — Inn Along the Way is set to offer a Seasonal Conversation Circle series. The first of three programs, Seasonal Sharing, will be a Zoom event taking place from 3 to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. The conversation facilitator Laurie Worth invites you to come as you are and sit down with a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or other comforting drink or dish.
The members of the Conversation Planning Committee encourages participants to bring a seasonal or winter memory to share, such as a poem, a song, or a meaningful event in your life. Bring your happiness, sorrow, laughter, tears, gratitude, an embarrassing moment, and/or hopes for the coming season and year. This sharing is for the purpose of deepening ones connection with others (not for fixing) as we honor the changing of the season (Winter Solstice) and our various holiday traditions, each in our own unique way. We hope you will join us.
Advance registration is required. To register, contact Sherry Flint at sherry@innalongtheway.org or 207-751-6261. Participation will be limited to 20 persons. A Zoom link with be emailed to participants prior to Dec. 12.
Future Seasonal Conversation Circles: Starting Anew in 2022, Sunday, Jan. 30, 3-4:15 p.m.; and Mud Season to Blooms, Sunday, March 27, 3-4:15 p.m.
In person vs. Zoom meetings will depend on COVID numbers and guidelines at the time of the conversation.
The inn’s mission is to create a collaborative community offering older adults, and those seeking temporary relief from the responsibilities of caregiving, an environment of support, purpose, and sustainability in a multigenerational and mutually interdependent setting.
