After a two-year break because of health concerns, Bridgton’s Art in the Park event is due to take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Shorey Park on Main Street in Bridgton, with a rain date of July 17.
There will be spaces for 37 artists and four nonprofit organizations.
Art in the Park has been a highlight of the summer season in Bridgton for many years, bringing in many people to walk through the park setting filled with artists selling their colorful paintings, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, photographs and much more, according to a news release about the event. Music and food are available as well.
Information and an application to exhibit at Art in the Park can be found at gallery302.com, where payment may be made. A paper application can also be picked up at Gallery 302, 112 Main St.
