GARDINER — The Gardiner Area High School baseball team practiced on the school’s new turf field Monday as pitchers and catchers reported to start the spring season.
“I am absolutely delighted we can practice outside on the first day,” baseball coach Charlie Lawrence. “The field is perfect for all of us.”
Gardiner opens its season at home against Erskine Academy at 11 a.m., April 19.
