TURNER — The Erskine Academy baseball team put the finishing touches on a strong regular season by claiming a 7-2 win over Leavitt in Turner.
Erkine’s Isaac Hayden, the winning pitcher, helped his cause at the plate with three singles. Holden McKenney and Liam Perfetto added two singles each for the Eagles (14-2).
For Leavitt (7-9), Brogan McCormick and Blake Springer had two singles each. Colton Taylor was the losing pitcher for the Hornets.
CONY 6, GARDINER 5: The Rams got two home runs and five RBIs from Kam Douin in a walkoff win over the Tigers in Augusta.
Douin was also the winning pitcher for Cony, which trailed 5-3 after three innings before scoring two runs in the fifth to tie it and one in the seventh to win it. The Rams finished the regular season 13-3.
Theron Corliss and Gavin White doubled for Gardiner (2-14). White took the loss for the Tigers on the mound.
LAWRENCE 5, MARANACOOK 2: The Bulldogs bounced back from seeing their five-game winning streak snapped with a win over the Black Bears in Readfield.
Andrew Trombley had two singles and two RBIs for Lawrence (12-4) in the win. Winning pitcher Logan Carpenter doubled for the Bulldogs, as did Maddox Santone.
Tyler Hreben took the loss for Maranacook (11-5), which fell for the third time in four games.
MT. ABRAM 6, HALL-DALE 2: The Roadrunners scored three runs apiece in the fifth and seventh innings to top the Bulldogs in Farmingdale.
Ian Allen and Cam Grey both singled twice for Mt. Abram (14-2) in the win, and Trey Pease hit a triple. Adam Luce claimed the win for the Roadrunners on the mound.
For Hall-Dale (7-9) Jackson Leach hit two singles, and Max Byron took the loss.
OAK HILL 12, BOOTHBAY 2: Isaac Morrissette doubled, singled and drove in two runs as the Raiders (10-6) topped the Seahawks (2-14) in Wales.
Caden Thompson tripled and drove in two runs for Oak Hill in the win. Ethan Vattaso also smacked a triple in the win.
Vattaso and Jackson Arbour each shared the pitching duties on the mound.
SOFTBALL
NOKOMIS 1, MCI 0: Mia Coots struck out 18 batters and allowed just one hit and two walks as the Warriors closed out the regular season with a win over the Huskies in Newport.
Coots also had a bunt single for Nokomis (15-1), which got its lone run in the fifth inning when Cam King tripled and then scored on an errant throw. Meg Watson had a double and a single for the Warriors, and Hope Brooks also singled.
Hannah Robinson recorded the lone hit for MCI (4-12) on a single in the sixth inning. Kassie Snowman struck out two and walked one for the Huskies in the loss.
HALL-DALE 13, MT. ABRAM 0, 5 INNINGS: The Bulldogs scored eight runs in the fourth inning en route to a mercy-rule victory over the Roadrunners in Farmingdale.
Hall-Dale (15-0) got multiple hits from Lily Platt (home run, single, five RBIs), Zoe Soule (four singles), Emma Soule (two singles, three RBIs) and Rita Benoit (two singles, two RBI). Benoit claimed the win for the Bulldogs in the circle.
Adrianna Stinchfield took the loss for Mt. Abram, which fell to 5-11.
GARDINER 15, CONY 4, 5 INNINGS: The Tigers scored 14 runs over the first three innings to cruise to a rivalry win over the Rams in Augusta.
Devin Clary had a home run and a single for Gardiner (14-2), and Taylor Takatsu (two doubles) and Brooke Gero (two singles) also recorded multiple hits. Lainey Cooley was the winning pitcher for the Tigers.
For Cony (7-9), Torrie Webber had a double and a single, and Bri Madore smacked a double. Sage Fortin took the loss for the Rams.
LEAVITT 12, ERSKINE 2: Sam DeBlois collected three hits, and Nola Boutaugh singled and homered to lead the Hornets (11-5) past the Eagles (3-13) in China.
Abby Albert pitched five innings for Leavitt and picked up the win.
Kenzie Kutniewski singled and doubled for Erskine.
MESSALONSKEE 18, MT. BLUE 0, 5 INNINGS: Morgan Wills pitched a no-hitter, striking out 14 batters out of a possible 15 outs for the Eagles in a win over the Cougars in Farmington.
Wills, a junior, surpassed 300 career strikeouts in the win.
Jordan Lambert smacked a grand slam in the first inning for Messalonskee (5-11).
Mt. Blue falls to 1-15.
BUCKFIELD 8, OAK HILL 4: Winning pitcher Carmen Crockett struck out 12 batters and gave up one hit as the Bucks topped the Raiders in Wales.
Crockett also supplied three hits and drove in a run for Buckfield (8-8), and Kayden Haylock also hammered out three hits and drove in two runs. The Bucks had 16 hits on the day.
For Oak Hill (7-9), Aubrey McElheney had a double. Mia Valliere was the losing pitcher for the Raiders.
