The May 17 “Our View” editorial regarding Republican fixation on voter replacement is totally misleading. Saying that “Immigration has been in sharp decline for five years, and is at its lowest level in decades according to the U.S. Census” is misleading beyond belief. The number of people attempting to cross illegally at the southern border dwarfs legal immigration. U.S. DHS reports 234,088 immigrant encounters occurred at the southern border in just the month of April.

If you are going to express a view, back it up with all the facts not just the “filtered” information which supports your argument. Your readers deserve better.
