SKOWHEGAN — Layla Conway scored the only goal nearly three minutes into the second quarter to give the Skowhegan field hockey team a 1-0 win over Oxford Hills on Saturday
Emmah Corson made three saves for the shutout for the Rivers Hawks (10-0).
Gabby Wright stopped nine shots in the loss for the Vikings (5-2-1).
LAWRENCE 6, MCI 0: Maddie Niles scored three goals and had two assists to lead the Bulldogs (9-0) to a win over the Huskies (4-1-1) in Pittsfield.
Alicen Higgins had two goals, while Elizabeth Crommett added a goal for Lawrence. Alonna Battis had an assist.
CONY 3, NOKOMIS 1: Elise Cunningham scored two goals to lead the Rams (5-4) to a win over the Warriors (5-2-1) in Newport.
Abby Morrill had a goal and an assist for Cony, while Bella Smith and Maci Freeman added assists.
Myia Seettusen scored the lone goal for Nokomis.
GIRLS SOCCER
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3, OAK HILL 1: Brooke Chase scored twice for the Falcons (2-4) in a win over the Raiders (1-6) in Wales.
Ciara Abbott also scored in the win while Jaden Boulanger, Ali Mazza and Emma Clukey each notched an assist. Justic Gendron stopped seven shots in the win.
Eliana Smith scored the lone goal for Oak Hill in the first half and MacKenzie Vattaso made 14 saves.
MT. BLUE 4, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 1: KK Daggett scored two first-half goals for the Cougars (7-0) in a victory over the Broncos (2-4-1) in Hampden.
Meren Zeliger, who assisted on both of Daggett’s goals, scored in the second half. Abbey Goodspeed scored from 45 yards out to open the scoring in the second half for Mt. Blue, while goalie Caitlin Burke stopped six shots.
Destiny Morse scored from 40 yards out in the second half for Hampden Academy. Gracie Baker and Logan Daigle combined to stop 15 shots in goal for the Broncos.
HALL-DALE 5, MT. ABRAM 0: Hayden Madore tallied two goals and an assist in the Bulldogs’ win over the Roadrunners in Farmingdale.
Bethany Ives, Marie Benoit and Sierra Gibbons also scored for Hall-Dale. Audrey Gilbert made six saves to secure the shutout for Hall-Dale (8-0).
Ruthie Gusler stopped 16 shots in goal for Mt. Abram (4-2).
MARANACOOK 2, MORSE 2: Phoebe Bell and Natalie Mohlar tallied goals for the Black Bears (6-0-1) in a tie with the Shipbuilders in Bath.
Maranacook outshot Morse by a 20-9 margin.
Macie Shiers and Helen Robicheaw had goals for Morse.
TEMPLE ACADEMY 4, VINALHAVEN 0: Dixie Szabo scored all four goals for the Bereans in a win over the Vikings in Waterville.
Sofia Isgro had two assists, while Mia Fitzpatrick added an assist for Temple.
BOYS SOCCER
HALL-DALE 3, BUCKFIELD 0: Keegan Cary notched a goal and an assist in the Bulldogs’ shutout win over the Bucks in Farmingdale.
Ricky McGivney and Ihsan Abdalnadi also scored for Hall-Dale (4-3), and Breton Lucas pitched in with an assist.
Jackson Leach and Ben Nathan each made four saves while splitting time in the Hall-Dale goal, and Gavin Charest stopped eight shots for Buckfield (2-4-1).
