Jared Golden represents all of us. He looks out for the good of all Mainers in the 2nd District and not just the rich, powerful, and special interest groups. He is very visible and accessible, and diligent with constituent services.
I have met him. He is to down-to-earth, plain and simple in manner. He is knowledgeable and well-spoken: brief, straightforward, and right to the subject.
He has done an excellent job helping veterans solve problems with the active military and the VA. He has had to navigate all of this himself when he returned from active military service.
I can personally attest to this as I had a decade-old military pay problem and was paid in full after contacting his Bangor office. I also had a scheduling problem at the VA audiology department for two years and got an appointment two weeks after contacting his office.
