When considering the candidate who gets my vote, I look at many things. Two important ones are:
1) Are they a part of the community and someone who understands their community’s needs;
and
2) Are they someone who can step into office and get to work on Day 1.
Fortunately for voters in Farmingdale and Gardiner, only one candidate, Karen Montell, checks both boxes.
Karen’s roots run deep. She has lived in Gardiner most of her life and now, she is looking to
serve us in Augusta.
For months, she has been talking and listening to voters. She is ready to use the knowledge she gained as the Veterans & Legal Affairs Committee clerk to craft policy that will benefit our two towns. And I know without doubt that Karen will work tirelessly to represent all of her constituents.
